The Regent Condo in Downtown Salt Lake City
Downtown Salt Lake City is getting a whole new look and feel with the City Creek Project and other “Downtown Rising” venues. Along with shopping , restaurants and the best in entertainment, you will find urban living at its finest in the new condo projects being offered
Among those condo projects is the exquisite Regent, standing 20 stories tall located in the heart of down town at 100 South.
You will enjoy truly breathtaking views of the Wasatch and Oquirrh mountains in addition to the cityscape in these elegant condominiums. Floor to ceiling windows grace each unit in The Regent with enclosed terraces above the 3rd floor. (Evening views will be spectacular in these condos with night views of temple square and city lights…ohhh the entertaining you could do, right?)
Condo units at the Regent range from studios (alcove bedroom) at 759 sq feet , one bedroom condos, 2 bedroom units (from 800 to 1200 sq ft) and penthouse units (with 1 or 2 bedrooms and den and balcony) at 2100 square ft.
Amenities at The Regent
Now, the Regent Condominiums do not lack for amenities, in fact there are too many to mention here. But for starters:
- Beautiful lobby
- Social room with catering kitchen and fireplace for family gatherings or entertaining
- 3 high speed elevators (no climbing the 20 floors…yea!)
- Main entry intercom system direct to your home for security

- Individual storage units (double yea!)
- Controlled access underground parking
- Conveniently located trash chutes and central recycling room
- Bicycle storage
- 3 lane 20-yard lap pool with continuous skylight above
- Custom whirlpool spa
- Locker and changing rooms
- Event room adjacent to pool for parties
- Fitness room with cardio and weight equipment
- 3 color schemes for individual condo units with variations
- Professionally designed Gourmet Kitchens in each condo
- Bosch appliances
- Caesar stone countertops in both kitchen and bath
There are many more features at The Regent and in the individual condomiums, but suffice it to say, for a downtown condo… they will be magnificent.
The Regent will not be ready for occupancy until mid 2011, but you can place a deposit and reserve a condominium now. There are still units left (even the studio and 1 bedrooms which tend to go the fastest)

Any word on what the HOA fees will be at the Regent in City Creek? Also, what units will have the best views? Any info would be appreciated!

Same questions as Erioc: Any word on what the HOA fees will be at the Regent in City Creek? Also, what units will have the best views? Any info would be appreciated!
Yes, the HOA fees are established at around 30 cents per sq ft (the actual fee schedule is given at the time of contract). The Regent views are outstanding, the best of which are the 07 units which have 2 balconies giving not only a view of the Oquirrah mountains to the west, but also a southeast view. The North East and West Units also give a great view of the New City Creek Center with it’s folliage, and city creek running down the middle (don’t discount the shops and people watching from above), as well as a partial view of Temple Square. East side views are great above the 12th floor, and west side views are fair above the 12th floor as well. Remember the only units that have balconies are the 01, 02 units on the north side and the 06 and 07 units on the south side. I heard they have a pool. My husband and I can’t wait till they become available. I love the style.
Do they allow dogs?
If we decided to purchase, when will they be available to move in?
Me too, Mary! I simply love The Regent! Having a condo this beautiful right in the middle of City Creek Center is also the icing on the cake. In answer to your question, yes they are available now, yes they have a huge pool and hot tub, and no
they do not allow dogs. Here is a link to the video I did on the Regent. Click here Call or text me at 801-819-9005 and lets chat. I will be happy to get you in to see them!

These condos look amazing and seem perfect for my husband and I. It’s disappointing to find out that they do not allow dogs at all. I have heard of some condos allowing a limited number of units to have dogs. This seems like a great idea or paying more in HOA’s to house pets. Seems like a really hip place that would attract canine owners. Is there a chance that if they don’t sell enough units they would open it up to pets?
Hi Anna,
Being a dog owner (2 in fact) myself, I would dearly love the idea that the Regent would be home to pets, but unfortunately not all people feel that way. To change the policy however would require a change in the CCRs for the building, and while not impossible, would be a major undertaking. Not to mention the folks who have actually bought there who do NOT want pets allowed. It would be more of a firestorm than it would be worth to the developers, so don’t hold your breath for any change anytime soon…if ever. If you want a list of properties downtown that allow pets, let me know!
