For those of you who are anxiously awaiting the premier of the Regent Condos in downtown Salt Lake (and if you don’t know they are part of the City Creek Project), your patience is about to be rewarded.
These sleek and modern condos will be unveiled in the next couple of weeks and are even now getting their final tidying up. Those with pre-sale reservations at The Regent have been contacted for final contracts and will be closing as soon as the building gets her final ok for occupancy.
Now, what does that mean for you guys? Not all of the reservations were finalized, (and some folks changed to other units) at The Regent, freeing some condominium units for purchase. ( Did I hear thunderous applause here?)
Along with more condos becoming available in the 150+ unit high rise, there has been some price changes on some of the lower floor units that bring them into the realm of ….affordable! For example, there are once again some Regent studio units available for under $200,000 and some 1bd room + den condominiums in the low to mid $200,000 range.
Caveat here, not all units were repriced Lower, some condos at the Regent have remained the same and some…wait for it… have been priced higher …call me on that one and I will explain. And as always, these condos will be the first to go, especially when they are formally announced and marketed in the next couple of weeks.
So…the moral to this story? If you are interested in the Regent Condos…Call me! Take advantage of the lower pricing in some of the units and get into this most gorgeous and elegant property anchoring the new downtown!

My wife and I love the Regent condo’s and are extremely interested in purchasing a 1 bedroom, 1 den. With interest rates coming down to the levels they are we are very interested in proceeding with putting down some money for a reservation. There’s just one thing we would appreciate knowing beforehand. We have a dog that is about 30 pds. small to midsized. We could not find anywhere on the website that said if dogs were allowed or not. Now, we love our dog more than we’ll love our habitat but would be ecstatic if dogs were allowed. No questions asked we would ask where to sign.

Thanks for the comment, and the short answer to your question is unfortunately, no, The Regent does not allow dogs.
I have 2 dogs myself, and I feel the same way you do. In fact, when we bought our condo, they only allowed 1 dog, and we told them it was a deal breaker if they did not allow both. So we got special permission to have the dogs.
I am afraid however, that you would not get the same from City Creek. They are pretty “rules” oriented.
