The Avenues In Salt Lake City, UT
The Avenues are eccentric, eclectic, stately, bohemian, upscale and one of the oldest residential areas in Salt Lake. Adjacent to the downtown area, and tucked between City Creek Canyon and the U of U, the Avenues is home to businessmen, students, professors, artists and just about anyone you can think of.
Narrow streets, short blocks, and well…hills define the area and there are bistro style cafes and coffee houses interspersed among the residential homes. The homes in the Avenues area are as diverse as it’s population from Stately Mansions including the Governor’s home on South Temple, to brick bungalows, and historic Victorian homes sitting next to the contemporary modern.
